Last year, one in six pet rabbits had problems with their teeth, mainly because their diet was not right. Rabbits need to be fed lots of hay, a handful of fresh vegetables and some rabbit pellets bought from a shop every day to help keep their teeth in check. Food is not the only problem that pet rabbits face, according to the charity. They say that most people who own rabbits do not keep pets in big enough hutches, or give them enough space to play in.
