Cydia Impactor - iOS 9.2 - iOS 9.3.3 JailBreak Tutorial For MAC and PC

Most jailbreakers know that Cydia Impactor is a vital tool that is used for deleting a jailbreak and remove Cydia. Saurik has renamed the tool as Cydia Eraser now and has updated it to support iOS 9.3.3 and the PPHelper jailbreak. While Cydia Eraser now does what Cydia Impactor used to do, the latter is now a brand new tool created by Saurik to assist with the installation of PPHelper Jailbreak.

PPHelper jailbreak has been update with support for the Mac and Linux and is now available in English. However, the process for downloading and installing it has changed – no longer do you need to use a computer to do this but you do need to use Cydia Impactor [links below]. Do keep in mind that the updated version of PPHelper is still a semi-untethered tool; that has not changed. You will need your Apple ID to hand because it is needed for a certificate to be installed – if you don’t do this you can’t jailbreak your device. There are two types of Apple ID – a regular one, which will require the certificate to be reinstalled every 7 days and a Developer ID which means the certificate will be valid for 1 year. You will not need to install your tweaks every time you re-do the certificate though; these will remain untouched.

Supported Devices :

  • iPhone 5S, 6, 6 Plus, 6S, 6S Plus, SE

  • Make sure you are running the most up to date version of iTunes on your computer or Mac
  • Take a backup of your data through iTunes and or iCloud

    • Make sure your device is on the supported list above
    • Download iOS 9.3.3 using the iTunes or IPSW method if you haven’t already done so
    • Disable Find my iPhone, your passcode and Touch ID

Before You Jailbreak – Download Links :

  • Download and save the following file to your desktop – NvwaStone_1.0.ipa[link]
  • Download Cydia Impactor utility for Mac[link] or Windows [link]

How to Jailbreak iOS 9.3.3 :

  1. Download and run Cydia Impactor [ links above ]
  2. Connect your iOS device to your PC or Mac
  3. Drag the .ipa file into Cydia Impactor, keeping the interface open and visible on your desktop, and ensure that your iOS device is recognized by the tool
  4. An Apple ID warning will appear – click on OK
  5. Input your Apple ID and password and click on OK . You can set up a dummy account for this if you want although both Saurik and Pangu have told us this is perfectly safe
  6. Cydia Impactor will now get to work on preparing and signing the IPA file. Provided everything goes as expected, Pangu app will be downloaded and installed onto your device – don’t run it at the moment.
  7. On your iOS device, open Settings > General – if you are on iOS 9.3.3, tap on Device Management and any lower a version, tap on Profile
  8. Locate the Apple ID profile and tap it and then tap on Trust
  9. Come out of Settings and open Pangu – it will be on your home screen
  10. Tap on OK on the message asking if Pangu can send you notifications
  11. Tap on Start in the Pangu app and lock your device down immediately using the Power button
  12. When the installation is finished, you will see a notification on your lock screen
  13. When your device resprings and you are back at your home screen, the jailbreak is complete and you can open Cydia and begin to use it
