Apple has stopped signing iOS 9.3.5 and 10.0.1, meaning that downgrading or restoring to those firmware versions is no longer possible.
Currently, Apple's latest iOS firmware is 10.0.2 and 1 0.0.3 for the iPhone 7. Developers and public testers have been seeded iOS 10.1 which is expected later this month.
