NO LIGHTS AGAIN!!!

We are all tired of the frequent power-cuts, aren't we? For me it's a big `YES!' I just don't know what to do as we have no generator or an in- verter. The annoying thing about the load-shedding is that it hap- pens when I need light the most. l It's like as if it has a mind of its own and knows when to torture me.Once I woke up in the middle of the night to go to the bath- room. I got off my bed and when I switched on the light, you know what I got? Nothing. There was no light. As it was too dark, I could not find my torch, so I went back to bed. That night, I could not sleep properly and you know why.
Another day I turned on the TV to watch a nice movie. Twilight was just beginning on `Channel 8'. I had longed to see this movie and thought this was my chance.
But after a few minutes, you know what happened. The lights went off and my wonderful op- portunity was gone!
That same day I returned after playing with my friends and be- gan listening to my iPod.
Unfortunately, the battery was low and I had to recharge it. While charging the iPod, guess what happened? The lights went off once again.
That same night I could not watch TV, use the Internet, play a computer game and worst of all I could not listen to any music. I could not walk outside because it was dark and cold. I could not sleep because it was just 7:00 pm.
I am sure that I am not the only one with this problem. There may be many thousands of youngsters in Nepal facing the same problems -- neither able to study nor do anything else.
